My name is Matt Kennedy. I am 36 years old and I have been training with Jim Launer for almost one year. The results have been unbelievable. Like many people in their mid-30's, I started to become somewhat "content", resigned to the fact that I would no longer be athletic and that being fit was a distant memory. Since working out under Jim's guidance my energy levels have increased dramatically which makes me more effective at work, around the house, etc.
What impressed me the most about Jim's training methods is how he caters to his clients specific needs. In other words, he listens, takes the time to assess your strengths and weaknesses, then develops a plan that will net you the best results. Jim is also very good at explaining the reasons for your individual training plan in a way that anyone can understand. Although Jim has trained and consulted professional athletes, he is able to relate to virtually anyone interested in fitness.
Over the Winter, we began bringing our daughters (ages 8 and 13) to Jim's speed and agility classes. I can honestly say that I have never seen a trainer who works so well with children. Our girls play soccer, basketball, and volleyball. The drills which Jim teaches can translate to any and all sports, which makes it advantageous regardless of which sports you may play. What makes the biggest difference in my opinion is how the kids love it! My girls get an excellent workout, and it is something they actually look forward to because Jim makes it fun.
Jim has made a positive difference for myself and my family since I had the pleasure of meeting him. He is professional, extremely knowledgeable, and dedicated to his work. I would not hesitate to recommend Jim to anyone who is interested in getting into shape, improving their skill level for virtually any sport, and to feel better!
