Writing this testimonial for my trainer and friend Jim Launer has been one of the hardest things I have ever done.  It is very difficult to express in words how important Jim is to me & my son, Aidan.   In one short year working with Jim, my quality of life has improved tremendously.  Not only has he helped me improve my life, he has also helped my son become a better athlete and more confident in his abilities.   Through coaching young athletes myself, I have first hand knowledge of the gap between parent & child when it comes to sports.  For some reason (my child included), a young athlete is more willing to hear technical or motivational encouragement & criticism when it comes from someone they respect other than their parent.  I have witnessed Jim fill this gap with plenty more than my child.  I can’t help but chuckle when my son explains to me, “Jim told me to do it this way”……as if my son is showing me something that only he & Jim know…..especially when I had been wanting him to do it “Jim’s Way” for the last year!!!    

No matter the age, the ability level, or the sport, Jim finds a way to make an impression on each person that is willing to work towards their goals.
