My name is Gerry Black and I reside in Dover, PA. I have a son , Brooks Black, who is now 14 years old and has been involved in sports, specifically wrestling since he was 5-6 years old. He has always been rather big for his age and has done very well competitively. We had been searching for a trainer to hone his skills to take him to the next level of competition. We found a young trainer by the name of Jim Launer at Most High Sports Complex through a mutual friend. Jim came highly recommended, so we started taking Brooks to see if he could help him with his strength, agility, speed and overall confidence.
The results thus far have been nothing short of amazing. Not only has Brooks gained strength but his balance, conditioning, foot speed and most of all, his confidence on the mat are way ahead of our expectations. It is very apparent that Mr. Launer has taken an exceptional interest in Brooks, not just on a client basis but also on a personal level. To say he has taken Brooks under his wing is an understatement.
Brooks looks forward to the time he spends in the gym, which for a typical 14 year old I think is uncommon. I attribute this to Jims' attitude of hard work, consistency and reward as a major factor. Brooks level of competition has risen to the point that we now enter him in tournaments in the age bracket above him and he is doing extremely well. Mentally, I feel Jim has instilled a confidence that we had never seen before and it continues to grow on a daily basis.
I can't express enough the satisfaction that I have with Mr. Launer and the results that I have seen from day one. We have seen other trainers but in my opinion, Jim is heads above any others that I have seen. I would without hesitation tell anyone, Jim is by far, one of the most knowledgeable, involved, dedicated people I have ever met. His training of Brooks is specifically for the sport of wrestling and it shows.
What I also like is that Jim takes an interest in Brooks away from the gym. He is always in touch with his scholastic accomplishments and his personal life. Without a doubt, the best thing we could have done was to meet Jim and secure our trust in Brooks' training.
